Compete with others to see who can build the safest encryption scheme.
Explorers will learn about encryption, strong password practices, and how to use these effectively to secure their data. Together with their teammates they will design their own encryption scheme and attempt to crack others’ schemes. The question is, who can build the most secure system to keep the data safe?!
The project will cover how encryption works, its history and evolution, sound security and password practices, how to protect data in the home and school, and how to use available encryption tools to ensure privacy of data.
